Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVAL AT ADDIS ABABA
Upon arrival at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, Will be greeted by Dreamland Ethiopia Tour and Travel at the airport and transferred to the hotel. A city tour will be arranged depending on your arrival time. The Capital city founded by the wife of Emperor Menelik at the end of the 19th Century. Very attractive are the two famous museums the National museum which hosts Lucy, hominid fossil dating back to 3.2 million years ago which belongs to the Australopithecus Afarensis family. The market of Addis which is noted to be the largest open-air market in East Africa holds together different retail and wholesale sectors. Particularly interesting are the recycling sector and the spice market. Overnight in hotel.


Day 2: ADDIS ABABA – AXUM/FLIGHT/
Transfer to the Airport for your flight to Axum (1 hr). After check in to hotel, Visit the Stele park, A group of steles carved out of single granite stone of the pre Christian era, the palace and tombs of Kings, the old and new St, Mary Zion Churches which is the resting place of the Arc of the Covenant, the remnant palace of the legendary Queen Sheba, and inscriptions.

Day 03: AXUM – LALIBELA/FLIGHT/
Morning flight to Lalibela, after check-in start visiting the group churches of Lalibela.
Lalibela is one of the most fascinating places not only in Ethiopia but also in the world. It is also considered as World Heritage site by UNESCO. The Churches are carved from a single volcanic rock and these churches show skills of the Ethiopians back in 12th century. Overnight in Hotel

Day 04: Lalibela – Gondar/Flight/
After check in to the hotel, start visiting the medieval settlement of the Ethiopian Kings, Gondar once was Ethiopian Capital during the 17th century. The first palace was built by Emperor Fasilades in 1636 and the others built by his successors until the 18th century. Bath of Fasiledes is one of the musts to visit sites in Gondar. The Quesquam enclosure and the most decorated church of Trinity (Debre Birhan Selassie Church). Overnight in Hotel

Day 5: BAHIR DAR – GONDAR (185 km) Surface
Morning visit remaining sites in Gondar and Drive to Bahirdar. After check in to a hotel, drive some 35 km south of Bahirdar to see the Blue Nile Waterfalls. Walking through the villages gives an idea of the way of life local people practices and cross the Blue Nile by the 18th-century Portuguese bridge. Overnight in Bahir Dar


DAY 06: BAHIR DAR – ADDIS ABABA/FLIGHT/
Morning boat trip on Lake Tana to visit the medieval period island monasteries scattered on the lake, such as Kibran Gabriel and Ura Kidanemeheret. Afternoon flight to Addis Ababa and traditional dinner at a cultural restaurant with folklore dance. Afterwards, transfer to Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.
